Sakae Artist: Lee Davies

Lee began playing drums at the age of 4. After taking lessons from some of the U.K.'s leading tutors, in 1996 at the age of 16, Lee became the youngest person in Europe to be enrolled on a grant-funded course at Tech Music Schools in London.

Since then Lee has gone on to work both live and in the studio with artists such as Platinum-selling artist Lucie Silvas, Jerry Donahue, The Opera Boys, Owen Paul, Paul Glover and many more, taking in styles ranging from Rock through to Pop Opera.

Lee has also worked with producers such as Andy Morris (Lisa Stansfield and Stanley House Studios, London) and Yak Bondy (Annie Lennox, Mel C, Mark Morrison and M People).

As well as working in both live and recording situations, Lee holds down a very busy teaching schedule currently heading up the drum tuition department at Jamm Studios in Merseyside and also teaches private tuition across the North West of the U.K.

I've been a massive fan of the legendary Sakae sound since I first heard it in the mid 90's. For me the Almighty series has everything and more I want in an instrument, it gives me the warm classic Sakae sound but with a build quality that to me is unsurpassed. It is an honour to be a part of the Sakae family of artists.
